Vibha Tara
Popularly known as Gratitude Champion, a Samaritan and an enabler,Vibha has 30+ years of work life. First 15 years were more of ‘head and heart’ work, in social development sector, in the areas of public health, education and communication, with SIFPSA, UNFPA, PSI, Johns Hopkins University and Room to Read. A compassionate leader, Vibha is known for her innovations and good governance measures. In addition to working extensively in north India, Vibha has undertaken assignments in the USA, Russia, Netherlands, Myanmar, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. Four times whistle blower during her jobs, she faced life threats twice but moved ahead with courage, purity of her intent and faith in divine's protection. Since 2007, Vibha's focus shifted to ‘heart and spirit’ work, through Holistic Facilitation, Gratitude Joyshops, Holistic Well-being work for organisation and individuals. The depth and breadth of the work that Vibha does now, she credits learnings from the Quest, the Genuine Contact Program, the CircleWork, Science of Meaningful Life (Berkeley Univ.), SEE Learning (Emory Univ.), practice of Integral Yog, Vipaasana, her spiritual experiences with Shirdi Sai Baba, family values, so called failures and inspiration from some wonderful humans. Vibha continues her family tradition of not writing her surname and has some interesting stories to share about it. When not working, Vibha goes on gratitude road trips (Shukriyasafar) or simply sits next to the river Ganges. Vibha observes silence on three days in a week.
Manali Shah
Mana finds meaning in helping individuals & organisations reconnect with their core purpose, values and vision. She has over 17 years of work experience with civil society organisations & donors across various domains. In Jan 2015 and 2016, she taught a course on “training and development” to the final semester students of the MA in Development Communication in Jamia Milia Islamia University. She has completed a one-year certificate course on Organisational Change Facilitation, from the Human and Institutional Development Forum, Bengaluru and has been trained in moderation with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, Germany. Manali has received training in the WPPF, Organisation Health & Balance, Individual Health & Balance of the Genuine Contact Program.
Preeti Sharma
Preeti enjoys working with youth. She holds MSc, MPhil in Zoology and B.Ed. degrees and course in Management and Personality development from Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. A professional with more than 15 years of experience, she has been a trainer for personality development. Preeti enjoys singing and hosting people wholeheartedly. She has been a Facilitator for Muskaan’s Project Happiness. She has received WPPF and OST training under the Genuine Contact Program. Preeti is a budding gratitude champion and volunteered for the project Faithkeepers during the COVID crisis.
Deepak Maun
Deepak is a teacher at heart and by profession. Postgraduate from IIM Ahmedabad and B.Tech in Dairy Technology from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, he has worked with Marico, ITC Ltd. and Avanti. A PhD in the field of innovations in education from IIM Ahmedabad, Deepak is Assistant Professor with O P Jindal University. A respectful listener, Deepak lives from a space of alignment in thoughts, words and actions. Deepak has received Open Space Technology (OST) training under the Genuine Contact Program and volunteered for the project Faithkeepers.
Jasnoor Marwah
Jasnoor graduated from the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities in 2019, where she studied Psychology amongst other things. Currently studying at Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, she hopes to be a Clinical Psychologist one day. She has interned at the Vishwas NGO – Richmond Fellowship Society, helping them raise awareness of mental health issues in Delhi/Noida; at the NGO Udayan Care, teaching psychology, sociology, and other subjects to underprivileged students; and with the Partition Museum, taking oral histories of Partition survivors. These experiences have helped solidify Jasnoor’s strong interest in psychology, which is rooted in her commitment to service and to understanding the experiences of others. She’s an ardent admirer of ethnic prints and Indian folk art. In her spare time, she enjoys playing badminton, painting, and spending time with dogs. Jasnoor is Project Coordinator for the project Faithkeepers.
Suhani
Suhani is the youngest volunteer amongst us. She joined Vibha in preparatory work for the World Happiness Festival by making gratitude bookmarks for agora participants. Subsequently, she contributed in the Project Faithkeepers and is the one who anchors energy of 11 member volunteers’ team and also brings lots of cheer to our team meetings. On 22nd April, she was the lead speaker for Sonic Spring’s Earth day event from India. Inspired by the sharing done by the participants, she decided to initiate a project named EarthLight, to undertake micro level activities in schools and communities to care for the planet earth. Suhani is grade VIII student in Prerana, a Waldorf school in Hyderabad. A compassionate person, Suhani enjoys playing tennis, making art and is a dog lover. She embodies her name, i.e., ‘pleasant’.
Anju Raheja
Anju holds an MBA and works at senior management level with an international agency. A simple human being, Anju is on a journey to explore her authentic self. She believes in promoting peace and harmony, by paying back through gratitude and 'sewa'. A traveller and meditator, Anju does not believe in orthodox elements of religions and encourages to cultivate self beliefs. A dog rescuer, she volunteers for adoption and care related activities for dogs in Delhi. She is determined to start a dog shelter and meditation shala in the mountains. Anju is trained in the WPPF by Vibha. She is the Founder Trustee of Muskaan and Treasurer of Muskaan.
Sapna Mittal
Sapna holds an MBA and works as an investment consultant with an MNC. She has been a Fellow of Udayan Care and has been groomed with a strong commitment for giving back and paying forward. For almost a decade, she has been counselling, mobilising resources and conducting workshops for less-privileged children, youth and elderly through NGOs and has enabled mentoring and financial support for more than 100 girls. Sapna has also made 130 garbage picker kids a part of the mainstream. In the last five years, she has been awarded with "Community Impact Award of the Year", "Bitiya Gaurav Award" and one of the "Top 10 Volunteer Heroes of India". Sapna is a volunteer for all projects of Muskaan.
Rajiv Gupta
Neeru Johri is Head, Department of Media & Communication Studies at Jagannath International Management School, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. She more than three decades of experience in Academics & more than a decade in social development Sector in areas of Behavior Change Communication, Policy , in designing of Training Modules on Life Skills, Reproductive Health, & Skilled Birth Attendants in Jharkhand, IntraHealth and Unicef. Neeru is also the Managing Editor of Mass Communicator, International Journal of Communication Studies since 2012. Neeru is a Trustee with Muskaan.
Rajiv Gupta
Rajiv Gupta is a Cost Accountant with 35+ years of experience in corporate, government and development sector. He has worked with Birla group, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd., SIFPSA and on DfID and Bill Milinda Gates Foundation projects. His core expertise is system development and implementation, accounts, risk assessment and audit, programme reviews, legal issues, etc. It is passion in social work and interest in field activities, that he has become part of Muskaan and leads its Finance function.
